Inspired by his love and passion for wine, Sophocles Vlassides realized a lifelong dream when he opened up the doors of success at his own winery in 1998. Since then, it has always been based on selecting only the finest fruits from vineyards that are located south near Troodos’ picturesque region.
The new building of Vlassides Winery was conceived and constructed by Heracles Papachristou. It is situated between Koilani village, in a 50 acres vineyard called Koloni, where it stands as an example for all other wineries with its commitment towards quality wines that have been recognized.

The Tsiakkas Winery has been in operation since 1988 and is located near Pelendri, on the southern end of Limassol district. The cool winters with little rain help to produce quality grapes that are hard for most other areas’ vines. You will find the winery high on a mountain peak about 1 km from Statos Ayios Photios village towards the monastery of Chryssoroyiatissa, in Pafos district. Next to it at an altitude of 3000 feet are “Kolios” vineyards where they continue cultivating this same earth that their ancestors cultivated for more than four generations. The hand-picked grapes are processed immediately after harvest using modern technology like low pressure pneumatic press and mild presses with controlled temperatures.
